The new Chemainus library opened its doors in early 2020. The new space includes Douglas Fir heavy timber trusses accentuated with steel plate connections. FraserWood worked with Fire Tower Engineered Timber to value engineer some of the connections and provide savings to the client. All the trusses were precision fabricated and delivered to site assembled.
